Position Summary
Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Implementation Lead / Integration Lead to support a Bonterra Apricot implementation for a State government program. This role will serve as the technical coordination lead between Bonterra, State stakeholders, business users, data teams, integration teams, and project leadership.
The ideal consultant will have experience supporting SaaS platform implementations, case management systems, CRM systems, human services platforms, data migration, system integrations, APIs, reporting, testing, and go-live activities. Direct Bonterra Apricot experience is preferred; however, experience with similar configurable SaaS, case management, health and human services, or CRM platforms may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical implementation lead for assigned Bonterra Apricot implementation activities.
- Coordinate technical activities between Bonterra, State staff, business users, technical teams, data teams, and third-party vendors.
- Support implementation planning, technical workstream tracking, issue resolution, risk management, and status reporting.
- Review business and technical requirements related to Apricot configuration, data structures, integrations, reporting, user roles, workflows, and security.
- Support planning and coordination for Apricot forms, fields, workflows, user permissions, dashboards, reports, and program-specific configuration needs.
- Lead or support integration planning between Apricot and external State systems, including API-based integrations, secure file transfers, data feeds, batch uploads, and interface testing.
- Define and document data exchange requirements, field mappings, source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, validation rules, and integration dependencies.
- Support data migration activities, including legacy data analysis, data mapping, cleansing coordination, import planning, test loads, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Work with reporting teams and business users to support operational reports, compliance reports, program outcome reporting, dashboards, and executive reporting needs.
- Support technical testing, system integration testing, data validation testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, retesting, and implementation readiness.
- Coordinate technical cutover planning, go-live support, production deployment activities, post-go-live stabilization, and transition to operations.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, decision logs, interface trackers, data mapping documents, issue logs, meeting notes, and implementation status updates.
- Ensure technical activities align with State security, privacy, accessibility, data governance, and project delivery requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience supporting technical implementation of SaaS, CRM, case management, health and human services, grants management, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience coordinating system integrations between SaaS platforms and external systems.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, authentication concepts, secure file transfer, ETL processes, or middleware/data exchange tools.
- Experience with data migration, data mapping, data cleansing, data validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with SQL, relational databases, reporting databases, or data extracts.
- Experience supporting technical requirements, interface documentation, test planning, defect resolution, and go-live readiness.
- Experience coordinating with software vendors, client technical teams, business users, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience supporting public-sector, government, health and human services, social services, behavioral health, workforce, or similar regulated environments.
- Strong documentation, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with Bonterra Apricot, Social Solutions Apricot, Bonterra Case Management, or similar human-services case management platforms.
- Experience with State government implementations.
- Experience with Medicaid, public health, social services, child welfare, behavioral health, homelessness services, workforce programs, grants management, or nonprofit program reporting.
- Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, or similar tools.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services, or built-in SaaS reporting tools.
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall project delivery environments.
- PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL, Microsoft, data, cloud, or integration-related certifications are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Bonterra Apricot or comparable case management / CRM / SaaS platforms.
- REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth/authentication concepts.
- Secure file transfer, data feeds, batch imports, and interface testing.
- SQL, data extracts, data mapping, ETL, and data validation.
- Reporting and dashboard support.
- Data migration and legacy system conversion.
- Requirements documentation and technical specifications.
- UAT, system integration testing, defect tracking, and go-live support.
- Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
Desired Consultant Profile
The ideal consultant is a hands-on technical implementation lead who can understand the details of integrations, data migration, reporting, testing, and SaaS configuration while also communicating clearly with non-technical business users and executive stakeholders. This person should be able to keep technical workstreams organized, identify risks early, coordinate across vendors and State teams, and help ensure a smooth Bonterra Apricot implementation.
