Senior Project Manager / Agile Project Manager (Ref: 5799)

Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers / Agile Project Managers for potential long-term consulting opportunities supporting complex business and technology initiatives.
We are looking for versatile PMs who can work effectively in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments and lead cross-functional teams involving business, technical, vendor, and stakeholder groups.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of recent project management experience supporting complex business and/or technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams involving business, technical, vendor, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong experience managing project scope, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project management artifacts such as:
    • Project plans and schedules
    • Status reports and dashboards
    • Risk and issue logs
    • Meeting materials and action trackers
    • Change Management
  • Experience facilitating project meetings, stakeholder discussions, workshops, status meetings, and other project activities.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, monitoring, escalating, and assisting with resolution of project risks, issues, impediments, and dependencies.
  • Strong communication, organization, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and/or hybrid methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Relevant additional professional experience may be considered where appropriate.

Highly Desirable

  • Project management experience in healthcare, health insurance, government health programs, or public-sector environments.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Scrum Master experience.
  • PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar project management/Agile certification.

  • Position: Senior Project Manager / Agile Project Manager
  • Employment: W-2 consulting opportunity
  • W-2 Rate: $80 (C2C 90)
  • Location: Sacramento, California
  • Candidates should be able to support onsite work when required.
  • Opportunities will be based on future project assignments and client needs.
