Senior DevOps / Azure Specialist (Ref: 5641)
Location: Remote within the continental US on Pacific Time Zone.
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE
Bachelor Degree in related field is highly preferred
References for three client projects.
Mandatory Qualifications:
At least 10-years working in Information Technology which will include the following specific mandatory qualifications:
Senior DevOps / Azure Specialist (Ref: 5641)

Mandatory Qualifications:
At least 10-years working in Information Technology which will include the following specific mandatory qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure in enterprise or large-scale environments
- 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
- 3+ years of experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with Azure identity, networking, and security services (e.g., Entra ID, RBAC, policy, networking)
- 2+ years of experience using Git-based source control in team environments
- Experience working within Agile, DevOps, or product-oriented delivery teams
HIGHLY DESIRED:
- Experience operating cloud platforms in government or other regulated environments
- 1+ year of experience supporting multi-cloud environments (AWS familiarity)
- Experience with Azure cost management and FinOps practices
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Python
- Experience using Jira Service Management (JSM) for incident, change, or service request workflows
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for the Azure Landing Zone and associated platform services
- Build, operate, and improve Cl/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform components using GitHub Actions
- Automate subscription provisioning, onboarding workflows, and shared service configuration
- Implement and maintain security, policy, monitoring, and compliance guardrails
- Support incident response, service improvement, and operational readiness for Azure platform services
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Collaborate with AWS and hybrid infrastructure teams to support multi-cloud services
